Version 2.2 Coming Soon
We’re excited to offer a sneak peak of our upcoming version release — a release that will include an all new map visualization as well as some “under the hood” code architecture improvements that will offer increased flexibility and extensibility for new features down the road. We’re making another round of significant R&D investment in GivingData and are looking forward to rolling out even bigger announcements in the not too distant future.
Last year we added our first map-based visualization, the Cluster Map, to GivingData. At the time, we promised more maps, and now we’re happy to announce the Regional Map. The Regional Map will show grant and payment amounts in aggregate by country as well as by subdivision within countries (ex., states within the United States, provinces within Canada, etc.). Below is a screenshot of what these maps will look like.
