GivingData's new import rules make the process of importing data from intake forms simpler and faster. Released in 5.0.9, import rules give users control over how data from intake forms gets imported. Users can set rules for each mapped field so that some fields get imported automatically without review while other fields can be set to manual import if foundation staff want to compare the value on record with what is submitted in the intake form.
The import rules are one of the building blocks of GivingData's overall improvements to the import process that will ultimately allow for rules-based batch importing.
