GivingData Launches New Integrations with Google Drive and Dropbox

Latest platform updates offer grantmakers four options for cloud-based document collaboration.

CAMBRIDGE, MA, October 17, 2022 - GivingData, a leading provider of grants management solutions to family and independent foundations, today unveiled new integrations with Dropbox and Google Drive to greatly simplify document collaboration between grantmaking foundations and their nonprofit partners. The additions of Dropbox and Google Drive augment GivingData’s existing integrations with Microsoft OneDrive and Box, providing foundations with more options for cloud-based document sharing.

“Foundations globally are moving to cloud-based solutions to support their grantmaking, a trend that has accelerated since the pandemic led to a huge surge in remote work,” said Eric Jones, GivingData’s director of product management. “Given the proliferation of cloud files, our latest integrations with Dropbox and Google Drive offer users seamless access to their documents and tools to better collaborate with their internal teams, strategic partners, and nonprofit grantees.”

Dropbox and Google Drive integrations make it easier than ever for GivingData users to manage files across their organization and attach documents to multiple entities within GivingData, including workflow tasks and grantee interaction records.

Since most grantmaking documents – such as grant applications, reports, and project summaries – reside within folders on a shared drive, these new integrations simplify the sharing and management of multiple files at once. GivingData’s integrations with the four leading providers of cloud document storage provide foundations of any size the ability to use a grants management solution that compliments their existing technology stack.
